Terms of Service
Last updated August 13, 2026
Long Traveler is a product of Zobot LLC. These terms are an agreement between you and Zobot LLC (“we”, “us”), of 2275 Huntington Drive #382, San Marino, CA 91108-2640, United States, governing your use of longtraveler.com and its related applications and services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
Long Traveler is planning and follow-along software for long, multi-country trips: itinerary scenarios, a reservations worksheet with booking-window reminders, an expense ledger, photographs, stories, and a read-only view for people you invite to follow a trip. One account can plan its own trips and follow other people’s at the same time; what you can see and do on any given trip is set by your role on that trip.
2. Accounts and invitations
The Service is currently invitation-only. You are responsible for your credentials and for everything done under your account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; if you believe your account has been compromised, tell us at once. Authentication is provided by Clerk, our sign-in provider. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
3. Subscriptions and pricing
The traveler plan is priced at $49 per month or $399 per year. Following a trip someone else plans is free. While the Service is invitation-only, founding travelers are set up by hand and billing has not yet begun; we will give existing users clear notice before any charge starts, and no charge will ever start without your explicit agreement to it. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
4. Storage
The traveler plan includes 10 GB of photo storage per account, measured across your original uploads and the display copies we derive from them. When your storage is full, new uploads are refused until you make room. We may adjust the quota upward at any time; we will not reduce it for existing accounts without notice.
5. Your content
The itineraries, photographs, stories, notes and records you put into the Service are yours. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the Service: to store your content, back it up, derive display versions (for example, resized photos), and show it to the people you have chosen to share it with. We claim no other rights to it. You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.
6. Sharing and roles
A trip’s admins decide what its followers see. Followers see the follow-along view only; financial records are never included in a follower’s session. Do not invite people to a trip whose content you do not want them to see.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service for anything unlawful.
- Do not upload content you have no right to share, or that is malicious.
- Do not probe, overload, or interfere with the Service or its security.
- Do not resell or misrepresent the Service as your own.
8. Travel information is not advice
The Service surfaces travel research: booking windows, presale rules, prices, opening hours, visa notes, and AI-assisted write-ups of places. This information can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, and rules change without notice. Always verify times, prices, visas and bookings with the operator, carrier or government source before relying on them. We are not a travel agency and do not sell or hold your reservations.
9. Third-party services
The Service is built on providers including Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage), Neon (database), and Clerk (authentication), and links out to third-party booking sites we do not control. Their sites are governed by their own terms.
10. Availability and changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service available and your data safe, but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We may change or discontinue features; if we ever discontinue the Service itself, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your content.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or missed travel — including a missed booking window. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or $100 if you have paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Your data, and ending your account
What we collect and why is set out in our Privacy Policy. How to delete it — a single photograph, anything we received from Facebook or Instagram, or your whole account — together with your rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and California law and the deadlines we answer on, is set out on Data Deletion & Your Privacy Rights. That page is part of these terms.
You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to hello@longtraveler.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms; where reasonable we will warn you first and give you a chance to export your content.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice — by email or in the product — before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in California, unless the law of your home country gives you the right to a different venue.
